Earthlings Calling

This film takes us on a thought-provoking journey with scientists who have dedicated their whole lives to the hunt for Extraterrestrial Intelligence. It's a story about the SETI Institute's search for a signal from another intelligent civilization and Douglas Vakoch at METI International, who suddenly takes on the controversial task to send out signals from Earth to potentially habitable planets. The story reflects back on us as Earthlings and expands our view and imagination. The documentary crew has been following this story and these characters since 2014.
