A modern version of the Oedipus myth. The action of the film takes place in an unspecified place (in a town at the foot of a cliff, between a garbage dump, barns and a forest), where people hide painful secrets. Diana, after years of absence, returns to town with milk flowing from her breasts. He has depression and memory lapses. Her return coincides with a crime committed in the nearby forest. Things get complicated when the main suspect - Maj - befriends ten-year-old Dagmara, the victim's daughter. Their relationship is based on exceptional sensitivity and opposition to the broken world. When a ponytail entangles them while playing in the river, May knows it's a bad sign.
