Pochti nastoyashchiy detektiv

Artist, a charismatic and narcissistic actor and showman, arrives in a small town to become the face of an advertising campaign for the bank of his friend, the most influential person in the city, Arkadiy Shmakov. He is greeted with fanfares and loud speeches, but the lavish celebration turns into a high-profile criminal case: the bank is seized, the owner is wounded, and Artist is declared the main suspect. Nadezhda, a police major and, concurrently, an expectant mother, takes the investigation into her own hands. She begins work on the case in the ninth month of pregnancy. The local police chief is not very happy about Nadezhda's return to duty and tries in every way to remove her from the investigation. To get to the truth, Artist and Nadezhda will have to join forces, despite their personal fears and circumstances. This path will force the capital's star to rethink himself and his actions: from a cynical showman, he turns into a person capable of sincerity, compassion and courage not for himself, but for others.
