The story follows Akiera, who endures immense emotional suffering after being haunted by the words of a “curse” uttered by her own mother as a result of her careless words. After her mother’s death, Akiera returns to her hometown to seek forgiveness. However, her return is met with anger from her aunt and deep hatred from a man named Zakief. Zakief has harbored a deep-seated grudge against Akiera for years, unaware that behind the woman’s resilience, Akiera is actually concealing a great suffering and a devastating secret that she has kept buried for three years.
